Bella Vista Salon Campus Visits Speakers: Arlett Perez and Sabryna Alers Campus visits can be time-consuming, expensive, and intimidating. However, they are opportunitites for students to get a real feel for college and campus environments, talk with admissions officers, and connect with resources only available on campus. College and career fairs at schools or community centers can provide students the opportunity to speak with representatives from dozens of institutions all in the same location and typically at no cost to the student. In these two sessions, representatives from University of Arizona Upward Bound and Tucson Unified School District will speak about these two different avenues in the student's college search process. Each will touch on the benefits these opportunities bring to students, and how schools and school districts can make these visits and fairs a possibility for their own students and schools.
