Ironwood Ballroom Conversations about Inclusivity Speakers: Mark Hanna This year University of Arizona President Robert Robbins has committed himself and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to participate in USC's Equity Institute training, which includes 8 weeks of learning about racial and ethnic diversity and equity. In addition to the 8 sessions, the SLT's are working in small teams to develop projects to create accountability for the incentivizing of equity and inclusion at all levels of the institution. This session will alow for the counseling community, that's each of YOU, to comment on their perception of the Univeristy of Arizona as an inclusive community. The conversation will be summarized and conveyed to the SLT so they can consider these perspectives when designing their projects. Similar conversations are happening across the campus community, but this is an opportunity to ensure your critical perspective is taken into account. Additional resources: |
