Algebra Academy is registering students to participate in the 2026 summer program.  Please register via the red button below:

Friday June 19th is the Juneteenth holiday observed by TUSD.
Monday through Friday, 8am - 2pm

Congratulations on being invited to participate in the Algebra Academy!

The Algebra Academy is a FREE 120-hour summer program for invited TUSD students in grades 7th through 10th that allows participants to be active as they learn about algebraic concepts through fun, project-based activities.  The Algebra Academy will occur at Catalina High School.  

The Algebra Academy will serve 60 student participants on a first-come, first-served basis from TUSD.  We ask that you respond prior to our priority deadline of Tuesday, May 26 at noon. 

THE PROGRAM

  • Gain an understanding of algebra concepts through hands-on, engaging activities, while earning 1.0 elective credit.
  • Prepare yourself for a successful transition to high school by learning more about your high school’s campus.
  • Plan for college and explore future career opportunities.
  • Space is limited to 60 invited students from TUSD. 
     Program will occur at Catalina High School.
  • Transportation will be provided to students on request.
