MISSION

Early Academic Outreach is dedicated to increasing the number of low income, underrepresented and first generation students who aspire and are eligible to enter a university degree program. As part of the Statewide Strategic Outreach Initiative, In 2020, EAO launched an office in Phoenix, Arizona to expand the office’s impact in the Central Arizona region

Our mission is to work with schools across the state of Arizona to determine their need for college access education and bring interactive workshops to these classrooms. We have 7 workshops on college access topics and have asked students to complete a Google Survey to gather feedback. We’ve utilized the feedback from students and teachers to determine areas of improvement for our outreach and to help us determine the impact of our work.

STUDENT LEARNING OBJECTIVES: As a result of participating in the EAO College Access Workshops, students were able to develop the necessary skills and attributes to explore a post- secondary education.
