The Black Excellence Tucson event is a partnership with TUSD's African American Student Services Department, UArizona's African American Student Affairs, UArizona's College of Education, UArizona's Admission and UArizona's Early Academic Outreach. The event welcomes families of K-12 students to learn more about the college preparation process.

- 8:30 am - Registration-Continental Breakfast
- 9:00 am - Welcome & Keynote
- Breakout sessions for elementary, middle and high school students and for parents
- 11:30 am - Resource Fair
- 12:30 pm - Campus Tour
- 1:00 pm - Lunch - Each family member in attendance will receive a meal card to be used in the eateries in the Student Union Memorial Center.
- 2:00 pm - Optional opportunities: UA Museum Day - free or reduced admission
