Advice for students:"Before I can give advice to students, I would like to say that all of you are great and you are all smart and can also attend college and achieve your goals. My advice to students would be to continue to work hard in school, go to tutoring when you need help in class (don't wait until the end) and be active in the classroom, school organizations and clubs that you are interested in. Another big key of advice I can share with students is that don't be afraid or embarrassed if you fail or you make a mistake, this happens and you have to learn from these mistakes. Another final piece of advice is if you have a certain goal or dream don't let anyone tell you you can't accomplish it, it just takes work and determination. "
Advice for parents:Even though some parents may not have college experience or even the slightest idea of how to get there, your encouragement and love will go a long way and that alone can help your child go to college. They will be forever grateful for your encouraging words that got them to their dream and they will also make you a very proud parent.
